The INTEKON Database Configuration seminar is a comprehensive lecture and lab program for the group of users who apply INTEKON software to a new production area or department. Participants learn to establish a model of production data in the database, and design data entry and user displays as well as graphic presentations of INTEKON data.

Prerequisites: Strong knowledge of production operations

The INTEKON Reports and Job Administration seminar covers the configuration and operation of INTEKON reports, including hardcopy, graphic, and user defined reports. In addition, cyclic utilities within INTEKON such as scheduled reporting services are covered.

Prerequisites: INTEKON Database Configuration

The INTEKON Statistical Process Control seminar covers the configuration and operation of INTEKON/SPC software in a production environment. Using configuration programs, participants select and apply SPC functions and rules to simulated data. Examples of INTEKON/SPC graphic displays are formatted and alarm responses are defined for simulated alarms.

Prerequisites: INTEKON Database Configuration, Understanding of SPC concepts, and INTEKON Reports and Job Administration

The INTEKON System Management seminar provides knowledge for day to day management of an INTEKON system. The seminar covers the relevant database management and INTEKON software topics. Participants will learn system operations, maintenance and tuning, as well as backup and recovery functions. INTEKON Support and Update Services and Procedures are also covered.
